The 2009 Château Margaux is an extraordinary wine, both for its tannic power and its fullness - which make you think of the 2005 vintage - and its sweetness - which is reminiscent of 1990. The 2009 vintage is clearly the greatest young Château Margaux that we have. tasted for 30 years. And since its alcohol content is just over 13, its finish remains fresh, tasty, and of a memorable length. Nature is not the only one responsible on this great terroir of the Margaux appellation: barely 36% of the harvest (31% at bottling) went into the first wine: a ruthless selection for such a great vintage. .
