Château Lagrange 2016 had a mild and rainy spring with the vines budding in advance without being too early. The flowering took place perfectly thanks to a window of good weather at the right time. Spring finally gives way to a hot, dry summer. The harvest took place from October 3 to 24. At the tasting, Château Lagrange 2016 presents a dark, almost black color, with purple reflections. The nose gives off aromas of black fruits (black cherries, blackcurrant) and spicy notes (liquorice, pepper). The palate shows richness, revealing a full wine with subtle minty touches. Château Lagrange 2016 is round, powerful and exceptionally long. Silky and delicate, the tannins announce by their marked presence a fantastic aging potential. An extremely harmonious wine.
